Video Editing Services and Preston-Osborne Win 2010 Telly Award
08.02.10
The annual Telly Awards recently presented a bronze medal to Video Editing Services (VES), in conjunction with Preston-Osborne, for the video “Kentucky Critical Infrastructure Protection Program.”
Created for the National Institute of Hometown Security (NIHS), the video won in the multimedia category and was created in conjunction with David Caldwell, President of Marketing and Communications at Preston-Osborne.
“This is the kind of communications project that comes along and you find yourself saying ‘Wow, that’s potentially a very complicated topic. How can I make this informative, visually appealing and relatable to many different audiences?’” stated Caldwell. “The NIHS project was exactly that kind of challenge. In the end, Arthur (Rouse) and the entire VES team implemented not only the vision that I had for this piece, but really listened and folded in the important input and direction from the client. VES was integral to the success of the piece and the satisfaction of the customer.”
The Telly Awards ceremony receives more than 13,000 entries annually from all 50 states and five continents, with entries made by the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, interactive agencies and corporations in the world. Awards honor the very best in television programs and commercials, video and film productions, and Internet media.
